Recently I have become entrenched in the steamy jungles of The Heated Forest a Creative Writing and Entertainment Industry blog (emphasis on entertainment). It was started by the people of my clan, and so I felt compelled to collaborate. The great honor here is that I have 2 columns completely devoted to my frivolous creative pursuits: Astral Answers and another one in development: Pop Rocks. Astral Answers affords me the opportunity to confer with the mythological archetypes of history and offer candid and authoritative sounding advice on stranger’s problems – something I have always enjoyed doing. Pop Rocks will be a more light-hearted column, featuring blogposts on important topics in popular culture such as Is Oprah Heterosexual?

With a friend like me, you will always have an answer to such questions.

One of my favorite features in The Heated Forest is Abandon Masterpiece Theatre. Both bonafide and aspiring writers are encouraged to submit their story of an ill-fated project or near-masterpiece that never quite came together. Writing such an essay is a highly cathartic and self-pitying journey to reconciliation with your failed projects, I do recommend it.

In spite of all this new creative foment, I will still tend to the garden that is A Shortwave’s blog. This place offers me the best forum for unadulterated thoughts and my adventures in ridiculum* Thanks always for your reading and excellent comments.
